Just a quick question from someone who has been riding for a few years, but is a complete noob in the gear area.
Thinking about buying an Atomic Axum 156, Technine Athletic Pro bindings, and Forum Recon boots (its a package deal). I'm 5'10, bout 145 pounds and gaining. Been mostly just riding freeride boards for the past 5 years, but would like to get into more park stuff this year.... Sound like the right set up and size board for me? $335 sound like a good deal on this? (Board sleeve included with the package deal) |

156 may be a little big for you, especially if you want to do park with it. Plus the axum is more of an all-mountain board i thought? The big thing everyone will tell you is to find good boots. So unless you know those forum boots will fit your feet well, probably don't go for a package. You can get 07/08 Atomic or Rome boards for around 200 easy.
