Hello everyone. I picked up a T.rice pro HP yesterday in size 161.5. i wear size 12 boots and use Union atlas bindings. the board has 26mm waist width and i have some over hang so i am worried that i might have a toe or heel drag, i got a really good deal on the board, plus on the sticker it shows that fits size 9 to 12. any help is much appreciated. here is a picture. cheers
What are you doing with it? Cruising around? Most people will tell you how they ride short narrow boards with sz12's and are fine, and they are right. The only people it tends to bother are the ones taking it to the steepest shit on the mountain and laying deep trenches - which is probably about 1% of this forum.
Thanks a lot. i do all mountain, mostly powder and tree riding. will be going on a road trip form CA to Mt. Whistler in December and my sister moved to Colorado, so i decided to get a better board for this season.
Absolutely no worries there. If your boots were any smaller I would say get a smaller width board. You can have 1 or 2 inches of overhang and have no issues.
Yup looks good from here. You should have no problems, even in the deep stuff.
