Board length for a beginner

I am still learning and I have a 155 cm Burton Cruzer...I am 5'8 and 160 lbs. Is this board a good size for learning or should I be looking at something shorter? Thanks

It's a little big for a pure beginner, but it's not like you're riding a 170cm monster.

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU

in park yeah , but it will be harder to control at mach speed...
you will feel a diffrent in spins and grabs , also for jibbing , easier to
do combo's. but belief me with a 155 you can do the same your 160pounds like me
and it is park orientated lenght
