Talking Jones Mountain Twin 161W or 164W

So I've decided to get a Mountain Twin '14 instead of a skatebananana.
The question is the length either a 161W or 164W
Any thoughts on that?

Specs:
38, 196cm (6'4") tall and 105Kg (230lb), size 11.5 boots.
Intermediate level, riding a Burton King 167 camber now, wanted something a bit more playful and less catchy. mainly ride groomers in Austria.
Union Contact Pro '13 binders, Northwave Freedom SL boots

Guy from the shop was saying the 161W was more playful intermediate and the 164W was more advanced level.

Since you are coming from a 167, I don't think you'll have any issues with the 164.

Your choices will both perform relatively the same with the 161 being a little more friendly on spins and butters.

The 164 will be slightly better at cruising / stability landing jumps / floating.

Pick what matters most and enjoy.

I'd go with the 164.. i'm pretty much the same dimensions as you, and just upsized from a 161 to a 167! i definitely found the 161 to be a little on the short size... either way, you'll love it

3cm is the difference between "intermediate" & "advanced"

Careful who you listen to.

Get it. Wax it. Ride it.

Leaning towards the 164W, just hope its playful enough to start buttering and doing little side jumps and 180's

Probably the 164, especially if the Jones is going to be your only deck. You could go 161 if you are keeping the Burton King for carving and charging,

Nope, one board to rule them all
Just finalized the order for the 164W, stoked to ride it in January in Austria.
