Burton Landlord 163 and US 12 boots

Hi there,

I think that tomorrow I could make a mistake...

Since I saw the Burton Landlord I fell in love and I knew I have to buy it.
But with my size 12 boots I believe I will have some serious toe/heel drag.

I asked the store and they said, it could work. I asked Burton Riders Service and they said it will be narrow, maybe too narrow, as it only has a 255mm waist. They recommended me to go to 258mm, but there is nothing in the S-Rocker with that size (Barracuda65 is 257mm...)

I am 6'2 and 210lbs. I ride with 15/-6. And I have US 12 Nitro boots...

Tomorrow I plan to go to the store and I will probably buy it...am I crazy?

(any piece of advice would be most welcomed!)

Greetings from Switzerland

:)

Isn't S-rocker basically directional camrock, camber between feet and early rocker tip rising right after the front inserts? If not, I'm interested to learn more :)

I've been searching for boards with that shape available around here. Looked at the Landlord only in the shop, didn't ride it, but I had the impression, it's shape looked similar to e.g. Jones Flagship, Rossi XV (that one with additional insane magtrak), both rather stiff, or the Volkl Selecta (that one with mini camber, smoothe ride, not overly stiff), and those would come in wider sizes.

Looks good, get it out and do some turns for me as well, won't get my feet on snow till january. Bit jealous :) wanted to demo the board last week in Saas Fee, but we were somehow unlucky with the weather and couldn't demo as much as planned. Interested to hear what you think about it.

I'll do soon.

I rode it today for the first day, only on groomers, and this board is AMAZING :yahoo:

Super stable, lots of pop and wanting to go quick!
Lovin' it!

The camber section works great and the nose floats really nicely when riding those snow heaps on the slopes.

Sadly there was not enough snow to go loco off-piste.
