Salomon Maiden or Rome Blue HELP? - Snowboarding Forum

Hi! I'm trying to decide whether to get Salomon Maiden or Rome Blue 147 snowboard. I currently ride a Lamar and have been using that the past 2-3 seasons. So you can see why I want to upgrade

I've tried finding reviews on both boards but can't seem to find much. I was wondering if any of you have ridden either one of these boards and can possibly give me some advice. I like to just ride the whoe mountain and i'm not into doing anything to fancy. I hit up the medium park up in Keystone every now and then but mainly just for cruising. What do you all think? Thanks

Salomon was bought out by Adidas a few years back
they have good boots but boards are going nowhere

Yeah I was talking to some guys in a snowaboarding shop today and they pretty much told me that Salomon was not reliabel and to go with Rome. I think that's what I am going to go with.... Any more opinions anyone?

Boards are going nowhere?...I find that difficult to believe. But I'd go with the Rome, just because the Blue is stiffer than the Maiden, and can handle the CO conditions much better.

Man where do you get your info? Salomon has parted ways with Addidas its now part of the Ameri sports franchise. Boards going no where? Hmm I guess ERA technology, rubber foil dampening, numerous other innovations don't exist. God people are retarded on this site.

Chick what shop did you go in, I see you're in CO springs and ride Keystone. Go up to Mountain Sports Outlet in Silverthorne and talk to the guys there, they'll get you squared away. The blue is a solid choice for riding Keystone, I'd also suggest the Atomic Polarity for riding there.
