Default New board advice

I've been riding for about 4 years and have always rented.....I'm now looking to buy a full set up and could use some advice. I'm 5'9", 170lbs, size 10 shoe....I mainly like to cruise all mountain (love speed and large carve turns). I'm looking at the Burton Air 161 with Custom bindings and the K2 BOA boots.

Any comments on this set up?

MAke sure the boots fit, everything else seems fine for what you're looking to do.

What do you think about the Rome Solution with 390 bindings?

Gracias....I am starting to lean that way vs. the Burton Air. From what I'm hearing it is more board for the money.

Burton products are good quality products, but I have always felt you can do better for less with just about anyone else. I also have not ridden anything from Rome, but everyone I know who has loves it and swears by it. Another couple of companies that are the same way are GNU, LibTech and NeverSummer. I'm swithcing to one of those 3 from a Ride Decade which served me very well for the last couple of years.

390's were mentioned. I'll just say that they are GREAT bindings... I absolutely love mine
