The Raygun is tried and true, year after year. Still flat with rocker in the tips and a wood core with an extruded base. I rode the Brigade in a 159w and I'm only slightly larger than you. I'd go for the 156 if you want it to be playful, which is what the deck is geared for anyways. 159 pushes it into freecarve territory, not going to be as fun to play on but it'll carve a little better. I don't regret buying a 159, but I'd have preferred a more forgiving deck while I was learning.
