Question New Board Opinions

Ok so I was nearly 100% sure I was gonna go with a LibTech Skunk Ape 167MTX for this upcoming season. Had a conversation with a bunch of people on here about MTX and I'm starting to think I may want to go with something a bit different until I get a chance to try it out.

I currently am riding a Ride Decade 165w I have size 13 Nitro MFM boots and Ride SPi XL bindings. I weigh about 240 right now and I'll probably drop between 10 and 20lbs by the begining of next season since I'm so out of shape i'm embarressed by myself and am not trying to be like that on the mountain!

I ride all mountain have been for the last 10yrs and the only company I won't buy a product from is Burton but I don't think anyone on here will disagree with me. I live in NY and ride mostly VT, Okemo is the home mtn but Stowe, Killington, Stratton, Mt. Snow, Jay Peak etc all get visited often as well as some of the NY mountains. I do take at least monthly trips out west to Co, Utah and possibly BC this year.

I need something that can perform in hardpacked icy conditions as that is mostly what I see. $ is not an issue I just want the best suited board for me. I've already been looking at NeverSummer but I want some other ideas from people. Board needs to be wide obviously and I don't want something that is too free-ride focussed...although I love the steeps and Pow it's mostly groomers due to the shitty skiers that make up my every weekend riding companions. Lets see what you guys can come up with
