i read somewhere that you could put a piece of aluminum foil over the bottom of your steam iron and use it for hot waxing. is this true?

has anyone tried this and had success?

thanks, i think im going to try it. if i dont have to spend $35 on a wax iron--why should i?!

exactly how i feel, you can also get some crappy clothes iron from goodwill and use that.
