Lib Tech for feather weights?

So, I've decided to pass on the Burton Custom. I've decided I want magnatraction, and perhaps even banana tech.

Getting reading to drop some coin on a T. Rice BTX 164.5, but the specs have me concerned. I'm 215 lbs. The 164.5 is rated for 130+ lbs. How can that be right?
How's this board going to hold up to my weight?

The 164.5 is a huge board. Have you looked into the 161.5?

yeah, but I'm 215 lbs. I'm mainly looking for a fast/stable freeride on east coast hardpacked, with maximum edge control.

As it is, the specs on the 164.5 have me concerned that this board is meant for people that don't eat. I'd be even more hesitant to go smaller.

Definately not. If anything they are a little on the stiffer side. You should have no problems.

How well do you think a 161.5 would work out for a 215 lb rider?
I can pick up a 161.5 today at a local shop, but again there's that nagging voice in my head that keeps telling me I need to go bigger. I'd have to order the 164.5 online and wait for it.
I'd love to be able to pick up the 161.5 today and ride it this weekend if I thought it was the right size for me.
Thanks.

Thats funny someone said a 164.5 is way to big and get a 161! because 3-1/2 cm is 1 3/8 inches! which is hardly anything!!! clown!!!

Well I tell you that the T.rice is stiff and and 161 and up is perfect for a 200+ pounder Im 220 lbs!!Plus with Banana tech you can ride smaller boards so either one is perfect for you! WE ride LIB not some posers!
