Did I get ripped off?
Hello... I just got a used snowboard (K2 RESPITE) with bindings from eBay which was supposed to be in "nice condition" but I don't think it's so nice :( so I'm hoping someone could give me a more experienced opinion since it's my first time buying a board.

From the seller's pictures, it didn't look like there's anything wrong but after receiving it, my gut tells me it wasn't used for one season as claimed...

Here are pictures I took:
Bottom of the board

Is discoloration under the bindings normal? Not even sure if the original color was yellow or white after checking under the bindings...

Is it standard procedure to stick double sided tape under the bindings behind the disc? The bindings seemed to be stuck after I took off all the screws and the disc. After pulling a bit harder, it came off and it's apparent that double sided tape was used. However, my understanding is that the binding configuration may occasionally be changed and a snowboard and its bindings should be designed to do be able to do so without permanent damage. The double sided tape seemed to have damaged the bottom of the bindings a bit and possibly the board too after being separated.

Is this normal usage for a season, and would this be considered "nice condition"? The edges seems to very badly scuffed and certain parts of it seems to be entirely ripped off/gouged to the point where I can clearly see the wood underneath and the protective plastic around the edge is missing. There are also some deep scratches on the surface that seems to go down to the core. Even the rentals I get on the mountains do not look like this...

Is this safe to use? I feel somewhat cheated and am thinking of asking for a refund

That thing is beat to fuck and looks old as hell. The core is exposed on the nose or tail (can't tail which) and from the pic it's looks to have been that way for awhile. The core is probably rotten from being exposed to water. Sorry to tell ya, but that board is probably trash.

If you paid more than $50 you over paid.

Yes ripped off. Take any recourse you can.

Hopefully you paid via PayPal. You need to contact the seller and tell him you want a refund. I'm sure he'll blow you off. Be sure to save the pics he posted on eBay. Once he blows you off, open a dispute through PayPal.

Seriously. That board is utterly worthless.

Couldn't vote because the best options weren't available. That thing is a piece of shit and not in as described condition; even if it was I hope you didn't pay more than $10 with shipping.
