Narrow...you don't need a wide with size 10 and a wide will be beastly and difficult to learn on.

^+1^

I have 10.5 sized boots. I was told by a salesman that I needed a wide board. He was wrong. However, I did learn to ride on that board. Rode it exclusively for my first season and a half. Then I got two regular width boards and discovered how much easier they were to ride.

You will be working really hard to get that wide board up on an edge to turn it. Just this last weekend, I was at Boyne and broke out the old board for a couple of laps. OMG! My toes were cramping, my calves, it was a buttload of work to keep it on an edge and ride it.

I will say this,... Learning to ride on a wide board forced me to be a better rider. Or at least, made riding a properly sized board seem easy once I got one. (...also gave me some killer calves!)
