Default Base over-bevel

Hi folks,
I think I over beveled my base putting a +3' angle by accident (I wanted to make it +1)
Is there a way to un-bevel it? I have read controversing opinions on the topic.
I have a Ride Machete with more edge to grind on. Please help, I fear I destroyed my stick

I doubt I can base grind by myself, so better to take it to a shop then. Does it mean a huge intervention or it would take 1/2 hour?
