390s and Salomon Dialogues

I'm a snowboard beginner, have gone a few times, enjoyed it ready to move past the rentals.

I'm
5'6" 160
Got the Sierra Crew 154cm
Just spent 1.5h trying on boots and ended up with the Dialogues 9.5, wanted the F22, but the 9.5 was just slightly too tight and no 10 to try on.
Planning on only being in parks this year.

All I need are the bindings and after reading lots of posts on the forum I'm planning on buying the Rome 390's.

Does anyone know if I can use the S/M or I need to get the L/XL Supposedly my boots are in the range for either, but I'm not sure if anyone has any hands on experience.

I suppose if anyone has any recs for other bindings those would be appreciated as well.

Thanks

I believe I read that the S/M were A LOT smaller than the L/XL.

I'm a 9, and S/M does not work for me at all. I have L/XL 390's, and experience no problems. I didn't even have to do much to set them up, actually .
