I didn't notice until this morning but I managed to get a scape in my board, approximately 1in deep and 2in long. I'm going back out in about 2 hours and don't have time to re-wax because I wasn't expecting this. Are there any quick fix remedies? Also if I take it into a shop to get tuned and whatnot can they also fix it next time i take it in?
well I guess I fibbed, I said approximately. its about half inch or a little less, and about in inch long, sorry I'm an over exaggerator, but It's deep.
well I'm not going to be doing any park riding today mainly showing my gf how to ride, my biggest thing is, if I ride it just this time will I be making an awful mistake or should it be fine for today and I take it in tomorrow?
You could take it to the shop at the mountain and ask the same question there... I'm not sure if getting moisture in there could do something bad to the base or not.
can you tell if its through to the core? if you can see the core then i wouldnt ride it before you get it fixed, if your just teaching your GF do you have a shitty backup board you could use while its getting fixed? But if its not to the core then you should be fine for some light riding.
