Need Jacket help.

Hi there, first time poster on this forum haha.

Went snowboarding in Italy for the first time last March and fell in love with it. I'm going again with friends this February and would like to invest in a new jacket to replace this dull skiing jacket I have. I'm on a tight budget of just about 100.

I've been looking at jackets such as the 686 Manual Mode jacket:
686 Manual Mode Jacket - Navy Red

The Bonfire Blur jacket:
Bonfire Blur Snowboard Jacket Silk

and the Billabong Tweakin jacket:
Billabong Tweakin jacket - triangles

Any direction on this or any suggestions at all are greatly appreciated as I really don't have much of a clue in terms of what companies put out quality stuff and who are reputable etc.

I'm not too sure also about how companies size their products so I'm not sure wether i would need a small, medium or large size. I'm 17, slim/average build, around 135(give or take 5 pounds roughly) and between 5"7 and 5"8. I would imagine I won't grow any taller than another 2 or 3 inches in height.

Thanks again.

All clothing companies have sizing charts, follow that, but for clothing if you can go try it on first.

hey im not sure about the other companies but i know 686 puts out nice stuff. I have a 686 jacket and love it, it light wieght yet super warm, and its quality, nothing to report with problems on it, the zipper sticks a little sometimes, but that pretty normal for all jackets i think. Good Luck. Oh what does that amount convert to in american dollars

Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah, I like the look of the 686 jacket a lot. 100 is roughly $145.
