Jib board busted on first day in the park!!! Does the waranty cover this???

I got a new 2013 bataleon global warmer a few months ago, which is meant to be a park/rail board. On my first day riding it, the edge broke in two places down to the core. Since its a park board you would think it would last more than one day, so Im wondering if the waranty would cover this. Does anyone know about bataleon's policy?
p.s. loved the board btw

Did you hit it on a rail? Or Impact IT Into the ground?
Then no. Not covered.

They'll know. And saying "I was just riding along and....." will get you laughed at. It's the most used excuse to any Warranty dept.

I would have your shop deal with it. They have a stronger "voice" with this sorta thing they may be able to push it through.
Buy it online? Support your local board shop next time.

This is from there website

PROBABLY DECLINED FOR WARRANTY:
Any damage on the base due to impact.
Broken edges due to impact.
A completely broken board.
Screws pushed thru the base (use of inserts screws that are too long, or used without a washer).

yea it was on a rail, and yea it was online. But its a freaking rail board so it shouldnt break the first day it touches rails!! Ive never heard of this problem happening to this specific board before so maybe its a lemon.

Technically hitting any obstacle with your board is abuse which can be terms to void your warranty.

It's not they're fault you biffed it into a rail and jacked up their edge.

Unfortunately your probably out of luck. Worst that can happen is you ship it and they say no. Then your out 20$ and have a broken board

I loved it because it was pretty soft but not a noodle so it felt perfect for me.
