Bought some '08 Burton Missions in Large for a great deal and was planning on using my old K2 boots in them that were size 10, but those just broke on me on the hill, so I need new boots. Apparently I'm actually a size 9, so my obvious question is whether or not my new size 9 boots are going to fit in my L Burton bindings. Burton says Medium bindings should fit sizes 8-10, while Large is 10+. So according to Burton, my boots might not fit, and that would be a bummer. What do you guys think?
I strapped one of my old size 10 boots in one of these large bindings a few minutes ago and the boot doesn't appear to be swimming in the binding. I'm hoping that the 9's or 9.5's will fit without issue. I'd still appreciate opinions/anecdotes/guesses.
Are you saying youre worried the 9's would be too big? Because Burton bindings tend to run big... I wear 9 mens and my boots fit medium customs easily...large will be no prob maybe a tad on the big side.
you should be fine my bf has burton missions size medium and 32 prospects size 9.5 and the boots are at the edge seems like he should have gotten large bindings. besides with the adjustability just pull in the toe cap and ankle strap
After trying on 11 or 12 different pairs of boots, I finally settled on some '09 salomon f22's in 9. I'll let you guys know if they fit.
