Board Opinions

So I have narrowed my selection down. I was going for the LibTech SkunkApe but after some more consideration I've decided against it. I am still considering the GNU 11up 166/MTX for 08 or I can get a GNU 11up 166 from last season for a super deal but it does not have MTX. I'm also considering the Rome Flag 168. What do you guys think?

For real man, give us a little more info but in my opinion anything Rome is a good idea but I'm biased.

cmon guys I've given this info on like 20 other posts!!! I'm 6'3" 240lbs now will be down around 220-230 by the riding season, size 13 foot, ride SPi bindings, Nitro MFM boots. I like puppies, long walks on the beach and huge mountian with 36" of fresh Pow Wow!!! j/k Ok seriously I ride on the East Coast, Okemo would be the home mountain since I ride there the most but I do Stowe, Jay Peak, Killington, Hunter, Wyndham and at least Bi-Monthly trips out west. I'm a total all mountain rider, less park and pipe than looking for natural hits, been riding for approx 10yrs now and currently ride a Ride Decade 164w. I'm going for the extra length because the Decade just feels too small for me now. It's still nice and stiff but it just doesn't give me the speed or the stability at speed that I am looking for.

If you don't want us to keep asking these questions, stop making new threads! As for GNU, I'd say they're pretty awsome 90-95% of the time, it's just some boards have had a bit of a faulty production. IE: The Dark Series from a couple seasons ago had an awful problem with the top sheet delamming.

The Flag is a great board. GNU topsheets chip kinda easily, I'd head towards the Rome board myself. Especially if your gonna have it more than one season. if you don't care about a few chips here or there get the 11-up. The Rider's Choice I had last year was a killer board, but the topsheet chipped REALLY easily. Especially from meatbags waiting in the liftlines.
