Anybody had this problem? Binding holes not aligned
1 Attachment(s)
I recently picked up a new board (Burton Mayhem), and went with the default stance width for the first day out. When I got back in, I wanted to widen the stance by an inch, but the holes on on the board were slightly off from the holes on the binding plate (Burton 3D).
The default width was fine with the 3-hole configuration, but none of the 4-hole configurations lined up correctly. Anyone had or heard of this problem before? I'm thinking of bringing the board to the local shop and seeing if they have some other discs that might fit better. Any thoughts? -pgroove |
try flipping it so its unidisk setup works fine on all teh boards i have had burton missions on

I'm having this same issue with getting my Nitro Raiden 0's onto my new Burton Deuce. I have called every person in the tri-state area, and no one has these adapters if they do know what I'm talking about.
Sent an e-mail to Nitro, no response yet. Gonna call Burton tomorrow, and hope for the best. Super frustrating... Anyone that can refer me to a shop close to NYC who has them for sure or reputable online dealer I'd appreciate it much! |
Looks like you have the Universal disc..have you tried rotating that disc 90 degree's? So your mounting with the plate holes sideways not up and down?

It's not really helpful to your problem, but this is precisely why I've boycotted Burton boards since day 1.

Thanks everyone. I've tried spinning the discs every which direction, switching them between bindings--no dice! I called the store I got it from and they said to bring it down and they will figure something out for it.
Hopefully they have some other discs that will fit it better. Since the problem is only with the 4-hole pattern, I think something like this should work. |
Just don't buy burton. There are plenty of worthy alternatives out there. And they're not trying dueche bags about using other brands with their products.

i have the same disc also. if sometimes if one way doesnt work, you have to turn it all the way around 180 degrees and then the holes will fit. Thats how i solved my problems

I had a similiar problem last year.. I bought some Technine bindings for my girls burton board and no fit. What the shop guy did was drill the baseplate holes biggier, it worked.
