Top sheet Damage

I got a brand new Nitro rook and tried it out for the first time the other weekend.. and i got home and looked at the top sheet and first thing i noticed is the edges of it were already chipped up and dinged up pretty bad. Should I do something about it? it seems pretty brutal since it was the first day of riding.. any advice is welcome

Box it up and ship it to me quick like really really quick before it transfers to all the other boards like board AIDS.

Nothing to do. Watch those rental kids in line.

Order of the day. Get used to it, its not a big deal. Grab a razor blade and some sandpaper and clean off the splinters. If your core is exposed, seal it with epoxy. Epoxy is epoxy so kick brand names be damned. After that is all said and done, get back on the slopes and have fun.

haha ight thanks guys the reason why i was worried is cause my other board the never summer sl from 12-13 has like a whole season on it and doesn't look that bad.. I guess never summer really holds up to their names as being tanks

Lib tech top sheets are soft and also chip easy. Just part of lift lines. Skiers do more damage than anything else.

Why even bring lib into this? He's talking about a Nitro Rook

Easy there fella, I own three. They chip. I was using it as a reference point that his board/brand is not an individual situation and that it's a common thing for some other top sheets to chip.
