Talking Rome Anthem or Custom X

Im an advanced rider looking for an all-mountain board that can really handle going fast. I like to ride a bit of pow and want something that can handle some rough terrain as well.

Im looking at the anthem and custom x. Id like to hear from people who have ridden these sticks. Or if anyone has ridden anything else that would suit.

cheers in advance

You can always trust burton for high end boards , other brands can be a bit iffy.

I'd go with the Custom X. Serious board for serious riders.

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU

I haven't ridden the Custom X but I love my 159 Anthem. Rome's customer service is second to none.

i have a 161 anthem. the greatest board i have owned. i buy at least one board a year. and this is one i will not get rid of. it rides so great and it is very stable at high speeds. it has a lot of pop which is great for those jumps in the trees. it is very comparable to the was the burton vapor rides and is not near as expensive.

I just bought a burton Custom X 158, Let me tell ya this board screams. Super light, like the channel, set with EST Triad bindings. Super responsive, great all mountain board. I like the weight and the feel is super sweet. Just took it out this past weekend and it was nothing less than spectacular. Like mentioned before. Butron puts out a good product.

Burton puts out good products. Rome puts out better ones, at lower prices.
