Default 20 minutes ride , then my board was sketched

last week i went to erciyes(turkey) . there were not too much snow. i rode down from hill 2 times and my new board was sketched badly. then i rent a board. but it wasnt sketched. interesting

now ;

1) is this normal?
2) should i make repairment now or end of seasion
3) wax can solve this problem??

just looks like you ran over some rocks. i don't know much about repair, but the damage doesn't look terrible.

if you run over rocks it is normal is one second.

Dont feel bad - last weekend I took my brand new board out for some early season boarding and put two perpendicular deep gouges in the base that's WAY worse than that (nearly a core shot with raised edges). At least yours doesn't need to be raiser bladed and ptex'd.

The lesson learned for the both of us is when you ride early season, remember the snow is thin. You gotta watch out for exposed terrain under the runs and definitely, DO NOT go off trail like I did.

if you want to smooth things out just swipe a razor blade over all the burrs to scrape them off. then it will be nice and smooth when you wax it. if you use a metal wax scraper that should work to get all the burrs off too.

also do not ride on rocks
