dude there's no wax on it (yet), I probably went over a rock (i even remember feeling it)

it happened last week at windham, was having so much fun on the powder, then had a little nose down and....touch down

ptex?

run a razor blade flat on the base and shave it off flush. shred.

Doesn't seem that deep. Just wax it then scrape, if it's still pretty noticeable then fill it up with ptex.

If you ptex that little thing use this...

Drywall rasp will file down the ptex without pulling it out at all. Pretty small scratch though.

no point in filling it with ptex. a long, shallow scrape like that will just lift out if you fill it.

ptex is for coreshots and deep gouges.

if you got a base grind you'd see it less but don't do that yet - wait till you have 15-20 of those little scrapes and then get one. just clean it up and ride it.

Sadly, snowboards are consumable items. You use them up, you get a new one. Some of us BA use them up faster BA than others.

Like Shred said. Razor blade at 90 degree to the base, shave it even and then hot wax it till it fills with wax and after you scrape and brush you'll be ready to roll.
