Ok.So I just bought my second setup (previous one was bought used, so this is my first real one I guess). I have usually been riding all mountain, with a little park riding, and small jumps and rails on the side. This year I would like to start trying more park/terrain riding, but also keep all-mountain riding, but not as much. So here's what i got...
BOARD- Rome Solution 158 -seemed good for my budget, and seems good for my riding style. -I am planing on riding my first time of the season next week, should i get my new board waxed before then? Bindings- Ride LX - I know they aren't the nicest, but for the amount of money I have I think they will get the job done Boots- Head 7.20 -Here's the story on my boots. Where I live there is zero snowboard shops, and i found one place an hour and a half away, and gave it a try, since i didn't want to order boots online for sizing purposes. I found these boots and got them heat molded...I really like the way they fit my feet, which I guess is the most important thing for boots. I know a lot of people don't like the brand head, but I though I would give them a try. They have a flex index of 5-6, which i guess means they are right in the middle, which I think is good for my riding style. However, i do not know if these will be good for terrain, any thoughts? Any thoughts on the stuff I bought? good or bad Any suggestions on setting up my stance? Any advice for me in the future or while using this stuff, as i am still pretty new to all this. Thanks for all the help in advance. Last edited by kboefresh; 01-11-2009 at 04:31 PM. |

Another question because i didn't feel like posting another.
I just bought some Burton Apres pants...will these keep me warm in like 20 degrees F weather just wearing the pants, or should i layer up? Last edited by kboefresh; 01-11-2009 at 06:30 PM. |
