Hi,
ive been snowboarding for about 1 year and a half, i consider my self an intermediate. I never had my own snowboard equipment i always borrowed from friends, but this season im getting my own. The problem is im 6 foot 6, and i know i need a big snowboard. I'm wondering what board size i should be looking for (I heard the board should be shoulder height) Its allready been hard enough to find myself some size 15 boots (ebay hehe) thanx all for your advise Ben |

Its the weight thats more important in that, so check the manufacturers recommended weight for the board and if your in that then your pretty much good. I'm 6'4" and ride a 162, if we were looking for boards up to shoulders then we;d be looking at 180's which isnt realistic or required. Obviously your gonna be after a wide board with those size feet too.

Size 15? WOW. As Snowjoe said, you'll most definately want a wide board. What's your weight, and what type of riding will you be wanting to do? More groomers? Pow? Park? What's your poison?
