The UA hood basically is a skin tight ninja mask that can be used for full head coverage making you look literally like a ninja, or just a face mask, or just covering your head down your eyes and keeping your facial area open, it has a few different styles due to the design. Hell if they made these 20 years ago I would of worn these for halloween, they look sick.

The only downside I have with it, is although it seems to keep you warm as the chest and leggings do which keep me from wearing anything else BUT them, it doesn't seem to do a good job as an exterior apparel contrast to the chest and leggings. Mine seem to get damp from below the nose all the way around to each cheek even though they're supposingly water proof and no water, saliva, or snot got on it, so I'm stumped there.

From another thread here: Mask, Extreme Cold Weather, U.S. G.I., 2 pack [067601] - $9.95 :: Colemans Military Surplus LLC - Your one-stop surplus store with Army/Navy products for hunting gear, camping gear, emergency products, and survival products

you could use this as an alternative to the UA Hood.
