Back in the day northwave and Drake were huge.. with riders like Mikey Leblanc and Kevin Jones. Well they kinda died out. Although they made product they were more of a stepping stone sponsor for people on their way up the pro ladder. That seems to be changing with the siging of Alexis Waite, Seth Huot, and Pat Macarthy. Yesterday they announced the signing of DCP for both bindings and boots.Drake is one of those companies that not alot of folks know about but once you get their stuff youre a fan for life. Im huge Drake fan they are the best bindings ive ever ridden ( its where the union people came from although union isnt as good imo ) so its good to see this company making waves again.

Snowboarding - DCP Speaks - ESPN
Burton dumped DCP after 14 years, hopefully he brings some positive things to Drake/Northwave. Drake is really missing a strong line of snowboards right now. |

I have been exclusively using Drakes for the past 10 years. I have never had a problem any set I have ever had. Recently I was lookikng at my first set of F60's, I thought it would be cool to get some more up to date straps for them and put them on one of my freeride boards. I e-mailed Drake and offered to purchase a full set of new straps, they wouldnt have it. They sent me a full set of straps, The heel straps are similar to my Matrix straps and I got some sweet toe straps that are capped all for free. Pretty sweet deal for a set of bindings that I got on a second hand board ten years ago.

i seem like the only person who didnt have a life changing experience with drake. i had MLBs and they were ok, they didnt break but they werent anything special at all. they werent very responsive or comfy? the f60s seem like really solid bindings though
