Would you ride a dead man's board?

This stems from another thread and is a little strange, I know. But, would you ride a board that somebody died on in an avalanche?

It's the Craig Kelly Burton Air board. I've ridden it though it was long before he died. Not really an up to snuff board quite frankly. That thing is probably a noodle even by today's jib stick standards.

To answer the question though is yes. Though that wouldn't be a board I would ride.

Haha! this is great. I'll say maybe, as long as a VooDoo guy freed the dead riders spirit from the board, but not if the board was broken in the avalanche, because the dead riders spirit could never be freed from the boards core then.

Probably not...stupidstitious and all.

Is it a good board? Any blood on it? Anyone see me take it off his cold limp feet and leave him for dead in the avalanche field? Did I have a chance to check his pockets for loose change too?

I bought my friends Yamaha R1 but he isn't dead. He is paralyzed from the waist down :(.

My thoughts exactly! When I die, I want one of my riding buddies to take my board out for some runs. Only on the powder and steeps though! I'd do the same for a fallen friend.
