Awesome! Thanks for all the info that really helps. I'll go look at the 156 and do all the measurements/testing you mentioned. I currently ride an old Forum 154 and even though my toes stuck out over an inch I only noticed toe drag a couple of times so not worried about the 156. I just kept reading "Oh, you need a wide with a size 12 boot" so was looking at wides.

Got it. If you ever have some spare dough and want to gain a real performance boost, you are a good candidate for a wide/custom boot fit. Riding a boot that is 2-3 sizes too large to accommodate a wide foot can really rob you of performance. Our general rule of gear suggestion is fix the weakest link first. I would love to be there when you got out on some customized 9.5/10 boots to see the smile on your face.
