Edge tuning...

So I have read the sticky section on edges and still have a small question. I have the K2 Zero, K2 Snowboarding | Boards | 0 , and it has a base bevel of 1 degree. How do I know what the side edge bevel currently is? I ride on the east coast so I was thinking of doing the side edge bevel at 88 degrees but I am also finally learning to ride switch and wonder if this will make it hard to learn. Also The edge that originally came on the board seemed to be fine. So does anyone know what the side edge bevel is that came on my board? Also I am having it sharpened at my local shop. Is it even going to be an issue or will they know what it is at and just sharpen it? I just got this board in the fall and have ridden on it about 20 times. I have the dakine super tune kit which comes with an edge tuner but it only does o and 2 degrees. Is this something I have to take to the shop or can I sharpen it myself? Thanks for the help
