ok, so im planning on using my protec skate helmet to snowboard; the only way to make with work with goggles is to put the helmet over the goggles. so the strap is between the helmet and the back of my head. i found an old balaclava that id figure id use also. this is how i turned out!!
tell me what you think of my homemade gear combination haha. i think i look like a giant onion
no need to be sorry,i laugh at myself too
this's my attempt at a safe, goggle compatible, face covering, warmness on my head, homemade, littlest budget possible, way to snowboard!! hehe
its a skate helmet, and if i put the goggles around the back of the helmet, theres no clip/clamp thing to hold it in place so it slides off. the helmet doesnt fit if i wear anything like a hat or balaclava ontop of my head; so thats why the order is all messed up
eh the whole idea seems ridiculous and dangerous. you must have zero peripheral vision seems like the point of wearing a helmet would become mute if its more dangerous to wear it. my advice go donate some plasma or something and buy this Giro Bad Lieutenant Helmet from Backcountryoutlet.com
That's not safe. Peripheral vision is important when snowboarding.
