Default Picking a new (mervin) Board

This is my first post so if this is the wrong place please forgive me

For some background I'm from the east coast so I ride ice all day . I've been riding for about 4 years, my first on rentals and the last three years I've been riding a K2 dart that's older than me and i stiff as all hell. This year I've been taking riding a bit more serious so I'm looking to improve my board. I'll be riding about 20% jibs 30% jumps and 50% all mountain cruising and hitting natural features. I'm looking for a fun hybrid all mountain board because I wanna get better everywhere on the mountain but pow isn't really an issue considering we never see it. I'm currently looking at either the lib tech attack banana or gnu metal guru. As far as I'm aware they're nearly identical but the 2014 metal guru has been updated to a sintered base, I've also been told the AB is a tad stiffer. I prefer the graphic on the attack banana but form follows function. I'm also considering a carbon credit as ive been told its an "all mountain board". So what do you guys think I'm open to suggestions?

Also im about 5' 9" and 140lbs would a 152 or 153 be good for me?

Thanks in advance

Haven't ridden either so I can't say for sure, but if you're looking at the Gnu Carbon Credit, consider the 32 x Crab Grab board. It's the same board but with the limited collabo graphic and base. On sale for cheap here:

Crab Grab Crab Grab x ThirtyTwo 13/14 Snowboard Mens Snowboards at 2 - EasternBoarder

Thank you for posting that deal. I think I might pick one of those up now as I was just debating on buying a carbon credit myself, but was holding off based on price.

Thanks for the ideas I'm having a hard time figuring out what profile shape would be best and I'm thinking either C2 BTX or XC2 BTX, I don't like the idea of C3 because its so camber dominant I still want a some what playful board that I'm not gonna catch an edge on. Any thoughts or opinions on going with a C2 or XC2 BTX?

So I think its between the TRS or a Riders Choice but I'm planning on buying a 2012/2013 board which means they're both C2 BTX or should I wait out this season to buy the 2013/2014 cheaper? Also what size should I get? The TRS comes in 154 and the Riders choice comes in a 151.5 or 154.5

C2 is a really fun profile. If grab last years Riders Choice. Great board.

Watch out with the lower size riders choice. The waist width is pretty narrow, I wouldn't recommend them if you have a size 10+ boot.

Ok so I have to retract what I said before. The 32 x Crab Grab is not a Gnu CC. I was misinformed by a rep, but after getting conflicting info from several sources, was finally able to chase down the correct info. Oops!
