I rode my friends custom 08, 156 the other day and loved the hell out of it. During the off season I was thinking about picking up a custom or a similiar all mountain board, what other boards ride like the custom?

I just got an 08 Custom. I'm guessing you want an all-mountain type that leans more towards freeride? If so, I narrowed my list down to Lib Tech TRS BTX (look up "banana traction", Burton Custom, GNU Rider's Choice BTX, and Neversummer SLR (I THINK, I'm not 100% if this is right model), and Rome Anthem in that order. The BTX and reverse camber boards (TRS, Rider's Choice, NS SLR) has technology that future high end boards are progressing to by and large. These boards are also different in how they ride compared to the traditional Custom, but the boards compare well in terms of their purpose. They all have similar to same MSRP, but the Burton Customs will be the easiest to find deals on because of the larger production scale (at least from my experience and others that I've gathered).
