Anyone used a Burton Nug?

Hi guys. I will hopefully be in the market for a new board soon. Been riding for about 12 years now and I currently ride a 99/00 Burton Rippey which albeit very old with old tech, is still a great board, but is VERY stiff (no buttering at all). I Want to buy something softer, and an all-rounder. I mainly ride groomers, but like to mess around on the walls and in the deeper stuff if we have it.

So I have noticed this Burton Nug in the Burton Catalogue. Reviews seem generally good, that it IS very short, but still rides very well even in the pow. I have never really ridden a softer board, so would buying a softer AND shorter board (as they recommend 8-10cms shorter than your usual) be an easy transit for me?

Thanks
