Freeride boards

Im sure theres been many such questions but im new on this site. Please help.

Looking for an advanced freeride board thats very stiff, responsive, stable and great edge hold. I currently ride a 2008 165 Rome Anthem thats fine but a little too flexy and not really an out and out freeride board. I had a previous Rome Anthem 2004 i think that was much better.

Im an advanced rider looking to get better and need a hard charger for steep and deep but is also great for fast piste riding. Dont ride park. Looking to do a season in either Jackson or kicking horse next year as thats the kind of terrain i light but presently ride in europe.

Anyone care to recommend some freeride board for such riding. Dont mind paying that bit more for better quality.

Cheers

I just got an Arbor Abacus with Union Force MC's, it's the funnest, and probably the lightest rig I've ridden and you won't miss the tail in anything but flat ice. I spend most of my time in steep powder and trees but it's a blast out on the groomers too, you'll never get stuck in a powder ditch on the side of the trail again. I have a 160 but I believe they may make a 165 as well.

Cheers ive never heard of that make but ill look into it. Im quite tempted by the Never Summer Titan. Anyone like to comment?

Would love the titan. Only 169 boards left this year. Anyone tried the Jeremy Jones board and how does it ride??

Ride's top-of-the-line freeride board is the $750 Concept UL.

Killer deal here: http://www.snowboardingforum.com/buy...-ul-159-a.html

Look into the Rome Design, K2 Zeppelin, Never Summer Titan, Salomon Burner, K2 Podium. All are great freeride boards, but definitely check them out before buying because they may not be stiff enough for you (especially since your Anthem isn't).

I was actually wondering about super stiff freeride boards. Looking forward to the responses.

Yes when people talk about stiff snowboards im not quite sure what they mean now. Theres stiff as in its perhaps not best suited for freestyle and then theres properly stiff as in rock solid at speed and hard to turn unless your travelling at speed. Out of the boards mentioned above ive only tried the zepplin and its not stiff enough.
