burton custom vs custom wide

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get a new board and was comparing the custom and the custom wide. I wear a 10.5 boot and am wondering if the extra cm in the custom wide will really make that much of a difference? thanks for the help!

With a 10.5 boot, you will be fine with a regular custom. I have a size 10 foot and have no problems with my custom. Wide boards are made for people wit size 12+ feet

i wear a size 12 thats the size of an 11 on the outside, and it fits perfectly fine on my custom.

edit: regular width custom, not wide.

awesome! i was hoping it wouldn't be a big deal, because of some of the negative things i hear about wide boards. i'm on a bullet right now and was looking for something different.

What bindings and what size are you planning on using. I'm on `09 156 custom. Medium cartels and 10.5 rulers. Fits perrrrrfectly. No extra overhang and light as hell.

your board will be slightly wider than mine as it is with the same size boot, assuming you got the '09 rulers with shrink tech. Your set, no probs.

I had Large'08 P1 bindings with K2 Raider boots, and the boots were a hair small for the bindings. This year's Rulers laughed at me when I put them in the P1's. Way too small a footprint, so I had to go to Medium Cartels. I couldn't be more stoked.

Coming off of a Custom Wide 57 into a Custom 56, I've got a lot more snap and control this year. So I think with your setup you'll love it.
