Anybody had a cable break on K2 Auto series while riding, and does it means changing my shorts? I'm know there's a recall on them and I'm in the process of getting new ones shipped to me, but in the mean time ride the old ones till they let go? And have they fixed the problem with the 09's Auto Series or is that one a death whish too? Or pack them away and go the Burton Missions or Cartels?

I started out on the Missions and abused the hell out of them for 3 years. They're bomber and still going strong. Can't really say how they performed compared to other bindings. I bought the Realy XLT along with a new board and boots, so can't really say how much improvement I've felt was the bindings.
