Bindings w cap straps other than burton - Snowboarding Forum

Are there any other bindings (ideally 2008 model) that offer cap straps? I keep hearing bad things about burton, especially for their price, but they're the only ones that I know come w a cap strap. I just got a pair of 08 Ride LX's, but theyre damaged so I'm fighting w the retailer for a refund. I'm hoping to find a pair so I can use them this weekend. Not looking for cheap, but not looking to break the bank either.

A lot of the bindings on the market today don't exactly have a cap strap but instead a strap that can convert from cap to boot. They normally consist of a hard frame that will cover the outer edges of the strap with a softer stretchy material that will cover the toe of the boot. I have a pair of 08 Rome Targas that i got for hella cheap and they're amazing.

Also forum is owned by Burton so you will see a lot of Burton technology winding up in their line up.

union forces.. i had cartels and forces just own them in every aspect.. including the cap strap

I don't know if forum had the cap strap in 08, but i got some 09 republics and really like them. I had some rides with the convertible strap and they were pretty good but once you try a real cap strap you prolly wont go back.

I have used the Rome Targa "capstrap" as well as the Ride Delta version, and both are superior to the Burton Custom capstrap design I've tried on

i have the burton custom cap strap. its good but it could be better. mite need to invest in some 390s. graft, libertines and 390's. thats a setup right there

K2 Formulas & Sweaters have a universal strap. I have the Sweaters and strap in as a cap.
