My daughter and I have decided to take up snowboarding.
I'm looking for help with basically any helpful info on beginner boards at a cheaper/reasonable price. (Especially hers, cause she is only 11...and not sure how into this she will really get). Can always move her to a better board if she likes it.
Sooooo.... Any suggestions?
Have you thought about renting a board? Since you are not certain if your daughter will continue boarding or not, you could save some money if that is the case. :)
I agree. I'd rent or borrow until you know if she's gonna stick with it.
A good beginner board would be a soft rocker board. It will be forgiving and catch less edges. Flex 3-5 and rocker tip and tail. The rest is up to you.
More important than board and bindings are BOOTS! If her feet hurt then there's no way she can enjoy it. Make boots your highest priority. Have her try on a ton and pick the one that is most comfortable.
