Hello everyone... I just joined the forum. I am looking at upgrading my gear and came across a 2013 Bataleon Enemy snowboard for $650... about 1/2 off msrp. I went through the reviews on here and didn't see anything. Does anyone have experience on this board? I am looking for an all mountain board for mostly groomed trails, some powder, no parks.
I've owned both the Goliath and The Enemy. To keep it simple, The Enemy is a stiffer more narrow waisted free ride ripper like a Custom X, it will pop you out of carves. But it's too stiff on kickers to be any fun in that direction. The Goliath is more a great all mountain freestyle board, more like a Custom than Custom X. It has a ton of pop for kickers, ollies and more playful pursuits and still rips carves well. Don't forget about The Jam that's one of my favorite boards by them.
