I just got the '07 Ride Havoc and I like this board a lot. I'm just getting started and this was my first board that wasn't a rental. It takes a little adjustment in riding style as opposed to a rental but overall I got used to it by the end of the first day. I've heard the same things about this board and it should last you a number of seasons and through any intermediate or expert terrain (with the exception of double black maybe).
