First Time Down Mountain :)

well i went to Blue Mtn a few weeks ago and had a blast. stayed on the lazy mile for most the day to just practice. of course i fell like every 20 feet. for the first 5 times down. but after 4 hours of boarding i finally started to carve.

now i went to Sno Mtn ( Montage) last week, and it was awesome. not as turny nor busy as blue but it was still nice. friends took me on the green circle to loosen up then took me to a blue square a couple times and had me practice. then i went down cannonball which is a black diamond. ( boy was I scared ) then went down smoke a few times then boomer, both double blacks. absolutely terrified going down both. cannonball had a lil jump on the side and could get a few feet up. that was fun. and hit the terrain park and did a couple grinds. overall i felt confident in boarding down the mountain by the end of the day.

hopefully feb 8th i go to camel back or mount creek

My wife took her first trip down a mountain on a snowboard as well. She fell quite a bit, but I blame the mountain. Sometimes those greens aren't steep enough to keep any speed going or to keep your turns. It's like riding a bike, you go too slow and it gets harder. You'll probably be a lot more comfy on blues. My wife enjoyed the blues a lot more.
