I was looking at the Burton Custom 167 and 172 wide. Would the wide version of this board support my size 14 boot?

i was looking at the specs on one website and it showed it wasn't wide enough. But after further research I saw I clicked on the wrong board

Anyways i have another question on the board. Is a 172 to long? what are the pros and cons have having a long board? thanks

Depends on your weight, but a longer board will be harder to turn and throw around than a shorter board.

I'd get the 167 over the 172.

the 167 Wide should be fine. I have a 2008 Custom and like it a lot. I would only consider buying one if you are getting it heavily on sale(I paid $270 for mine after tax). There are way better boards available for $500.
