Boot size: 9
Riding style: General runs?
Age: 21
budget: 100-200. (but there can be exceptions)
Your location of riding: Mountain high, Snow summit. California

Just buy your boards off whiskeymilitia.com, dogfunk.com or backcountry.com They have a 100% return policy if you don't like the board. I recommend them until you find the board you like then you can keep it. Has some pretty nice one's on sale.

The Option Mirror 145 listed here (via the forum) is a great board for you (maybe a little narrow, depending on boots, but not a huge deal), especially at $99 (after applying the coupon code 99).

For boots, try stuff on. Don't be afraid to spend money on boots.
If your shoe size is 9, then your actual foot and boot size is probably an 8.

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU

GOD IS DONUT

alright thanks guys. im gonna try out the option 145. last question. i heard that buying snowboards depends on your weight. as in the the heavier you weigh, the longer the board you should get. is this true? and if so, what are the ranges for weight and length of board?

Yes it's true length of board is related to weight more than anything. As for ranges, each board will have a different weight range, sometimes given in board specs sometimes not. Then, it boils down to riding style (longer for freeride, shorter for freestyle) and then personal preference.

I'm 145 lbs and ride a 151 Jibpan all-mountain, but my buddy at 135 likes his 151 Andy Warhol for all-mountain.
