Yea, I know there are a lot of these topics, but none with my exact weight and heigth etc. Anyhow, I went snowboarding for the first time this weekend and loved it. Granted I fell an uncountable number of times and can hardly walk today. I felt I picked up decently fast for a first timer and could make it down the blue trails but fell a few times and the green trails with some speed without falling by the end of the day. Either way, I'm buying a board. I weigh 170lbs and I'm 5'10 with a size 11 shoe. They stuck me with a Burton Dom 56 at the rental shop and it wasn't too bad. I don't plan on doing any park just going around the trails so can you guys recommend me a board? I would like to keep the board/binding combo under $500. Thanks.

Hey this is what I did to try to lower the price for my boots. go to a snowboard shop or wherever to get boots try a bunch on, doesn't matter what color they are or what company just try them all on if you need to. if you find a pair that are perfect with your feet then go home look up the same exact boots on ebaY they probably have them and its almost garenteed you will find them cheaper, that's what I did at least and it worked out for me. you can even do the same thing with the board and bindings.

If a $150 boot fits you and your riding style best buy all means go for it. Just make sure your boot fits. Well. If you have to spend more, do it, cuz boots are more important than your board or bindings.
