Let us know what they say, please? My board has something like that, it's a little hole where the edges meet and it's plugged with epoxy. Never given it much thought...

I think it's normal, I've seen it on many NS boards. Contact NS though, see what they say and post it here.

I have the same thing on my proto HD. Never really thought anything of it as it doesn't affect my riding. Please report back.

its just where the edge wrapped around where the ends meet. its normal.
