K2 Sonic Bindings Tearing - Snowboarding Forum

I got the 2008 K2 Sonic bindings and I snowboarded in them for 3 days and they are already tearing and ripping. I have a slight tear on the toe strap and a hole/tear on the main strap. Is this supposed to happen and is it a big deal? Will it get alot bigger?

Does anyone else have this binding?

despite being on k2's cheap end of their line, that shouldn't be happening after 3 days

send them back/warranty/whatever
