My friend is willing to sell me her ex's Snowboard that was used less than 4 times. Here's some images of it. I am looking to know more about it and if it would be a good board for me. Oh! And why are the bindings mounted facing forward like that? That does not look comfortable at all.
I am a beginner at snowboarding. Been out a few times and I know I like it. I am 6'4' and 230. The snowboarding I do is pretty much mountain boarding. I do not plan on going to the parks or halfpipes. I will be doing much of my snowboarding at snowbird and want to be able to float on the powder when needed. I wear a size 13-13.5 boot. This board seems like it may be too big, I don't know if this is really what I am looking for, which is why I am here now. What we know about the board: 175cm Waist 25.4(will this be wide enough?)(may have mismeasured) ![]() My other option, Burton Bullet Snowboard 07-08. I have this on hold right now at ski pro. The price for this board is 210. No bindings of course. The Morrow board is 200 bucks with bindings. Last edited by MaddHatterAZ; 01-27-2009 at 09:36 AM. Reason: formatting |

well the bindings are in a forward because thats an alpine board. probably about the worst board you can learn on, seriously. a typical board to learn on is shorter and softer, thats longer and uber stiff..that board is for going fast and carving hard..when you ride a more common like 15,-12 stance your feet will be to big. a 25.5 waist is perfect for 10.5s

burton bullet isnt a bad beginners board, for 200 you can find a lot of stuff though. im thinking of getting a a capita scaremaster i found for 200...which is way better then the burton for 200.
that morrow is a rip for 200, i thought this was a friend lol? its worth no more then 100$ thats on a good day.. |
